Our team has escorted patients to several European countries and the US when families have wanted patients to be safely transported to their parent country.

Pioneer
The first air evacuation was carried out in July 1998 when a 35 yrs old gentlemen of road traffic accident was evacuated from Chandigarh.� A small step that led to a huge leap in the field of medical evacuation of critically ill patients. Indraprastha Apollo hospital,Delhi has already carried out more than 1000 medical evacuations from different parts of the country. We have also done more than 100 international medical escorts during this tenure.

Experience
Indraprastha apollo air ambulance service was created with one goal to ensure rapid, safe and cost effective air transportation of critically ill patient to the hospital within the �golden hours� following on-accident or any other medical emergencies like strokes etc.

Indraprastha apollo medical evacuation team has carried out evacuations from all corners of our country, north-eastern regions to Gujarat and Jammu to Pondicherry and Andaman and Nicober islands.

Indraprastha apollo medical evacuation team has carried out international evacuations from PAKISTAN, NEPAL, U.K, U.S.A., NIGERIA, TANZANIA, OMAN, BANGLADESH, SAUDI ARABIA, SRI LANKA, CHINA, AFGANISTHAN, FRANCE, ITALY, SINGAPORE, AUSTRALIA.

We have also evacuated pediatric and neonatal (below 28 days) patients. Our air evacuation team also carries state of art transport incubators to evacuate such patients. In one instance, we evacuated a 2-day old baby from Kathmandu on incubator.
