International Patient Assistance
Before you reach the hospital premises:
Prior to arrival, we need the case history, details of treatment taken, latest medical reports and current clinical status of the patient. Reports will be evaluated by one of our Senior Consultants and the cost and treatment plan will be forwarded.
Visa Assistance Letter:
To travel to India, the patient/companions will have to apply for medical visa at the nearest Indian Embassy. If you need any visa assistance letter, please send us the passport details of the patient and companions.
Prior to arrival, any advance payment can be transferred into Apollo’s Bank Account.
Once you land at Delhi Airport en route the hospital
Complimentary Airport Pick Up:
Patient/family will be received at the airport by our Hospital Executive.
Payment can be done by cash/major credit cards/wire transfer.
Appointment with the Doctor / Treatment:
There is no waiting time and investigations will be started on the day of arrival.
Other Supports Services:
Apart from the medical and nursing team, one Guest Relation Officer will be taking care of all the needs of patient and family. The dedicated Guest Relation Officers facilitate their assigned international patient and families and provide all the necessary assistance required forhospital registration, payments, appointments, admissions, billing, language interpreters, foreign exchange, registration with the Foreigners’ Regional Registration Office (FRRO), Multi-cuisine customized menu, visa extensions, locker facility,special dietary needs / religious arrangements, local sight-seeing/ travel assistance, hotel accommodation outside the hospital.
During the hospital stay (except ICU stay) one companion can stay with the patient and we provide him/her with complimentary meals.
Wi-Fi/complimentary Internet facility is available inside the hospital premises.
Transportation for all the pre and post discharge visits will be arranged by the hospital on complimentary basis. On departure, patient will be dropped back at the airport by one of our Executives.
Once you reach the hospital / International Patient Lounge (IPL):
The exclusiveInternational Patients Lounge (IPL) is a one-stop service center for our international patients. IPL is the initial point of contact for patient registration, information and orientation. We make every effort to assist you and be at your service during all phases of care i.e. before you arrive, during your stay & after your discharge for follow-up.

Apollo Hospitals will assist patients in making the appropriate arrangements for their travel within India. Our partners are aware of our patient's needs, proximity to locations, and modes of transport.
We have tie ups with various insurance companies for easy payments. We would be glad to discuss payment options with your insurance provider in case your policy covers services rendered away from your home residence. You may see the insurance companies on our panel below.
Advance payments are welcome but not mandatory. Incidental charges will be due upon the patient's discharge. The hospital accepts payments through Travellers Cheque, major Credit Cards (Master, Visa or Amex), Wire Transfer and Foreign Currencies from international patients.
The quoted amount does not include charges for any cross consultation, special investigations, extended stay, and treatment for any other illness unless mentioned otherwise.
Final treatment plan and cost would be decided after clinical evaluation at Apollo Hospitals, Delhi.
Money received via “wire transfer” for the patient’s treatment would be sent back to the patient’s account only. Cash refund would not be provided.
Our in-patient rooms have accommodation foraccompanying caregiver. Each room is also equipped with a colour television, cable connection, DVD player and internet connectivity. During the hospital stay (except during ICU/ HDU stay) one caregiver can stay with the patient.
We have tied up with reputed five-star hotels, boutique hotels, service apartments, guest houses and leading travel companies to facilitate smooth travel and stay arrangements comfortable for our International patients in India.We assist the patient/family to take an informed decision in finding a reasonably charged accommodation near hospital ensuring the stay in India to be comfortable.
In case the patient is shifted to ICU, room occupied by the patient/attendants is to be vacated. The attendants can avail the facility of the ICU lobby otherwise can utilize the facility of authorized guest houses/hotels on reasonable rates.
Post discharge, in case of a prolonged or advised follow-up, the patient/relatives would be required to stay in a guest house/hotel near to the hospital and cost of the stay would be extra.
