The Neurorehabilitation unit is an
interdisciplinary team approach to rehabilitation, enhancing our
comprehensive treatment philosophy. Each patient is evaluated and an
individual treatment plan developed which focuses the team on the patient's
functional goals. Our staff's extensive experience in medical and rehab
services allow us to successfully integrate structural therapy with
comprehensive medical care...
Throughout the rehab process, the physician directed team work closely with
the patient, family, and other specialists to promote optimum communication
including goal identification, process monitoring, discharge planning and
after case follow-up.

Assessment services, prior to taking a patient for treatment the patient
undergoes a complete assessment of his rehabilitation needs by a
neurologist/neurosurgeon who identify goals and decide the treatment.
Patient has the sole discretion of accepting/choosing the treatment
modality.
Behavioral management
During the recovery process, the neurological injured patient manifests a
wide spectrum of behavioral changes. These range from disorientation in time
and space, unable to establish continuity in their lives, because their
retrograde and / or anterograde memory maybe severely impaired.

It is the aim of this program to restore and restructure patient's life by
providing stability and purpose. The emphasis is on long-term care and
support, which affect the family and social life.
A special educator assists the child in teaching the child to meet their
day to day needs, help in developing functional independent walking ability,
and / or wheeled mobility.
Developmental disability represents the system changes that an individual
experiences from conception till adulthood. A child development is holistic
and therefore its evaluation, on going assessment and intervention needs
multidisciplinary inputs from the team of individuals having expertise in
pediatric development.
The pediatric components of the neurorehab program aims to provide
multidisciplinary evaluation and comprehensive treatment plans for referrals
of children with:
